OAAW & AGFAF Cultural Program
April 20, 2018 @ 6:00PM — 9:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Celebrating 10 years of success improving education and health care for the Afghan people

Organization for the Advancement of Afghan Women and Afghan Girls Financial Assistance Fund have joined forces to teach reading, critical thinking and literacy at the Moshiwani Payan Elementary School for Girls .
The Moshiwani School for Girls is located outside of Kabul in a rural area of Afghanistan. The OAAW clinic has served this community for years as their only local source of medical care. In this community, many girls remain unschooled and uneducated and those in school leave after 6th grade to get married or work at home.
Drawing on our success in establishing school libraries and classes in three Kabul public schools, AGFAF has begun to work with girls in the Moshiwani School. Hear about what we have done, plan to do, and the girls' responses. See why we believe the success of this work is critically important to the future of Afghanistan.
Please join us for an evening of cultural programming, meet those involved and learn how you can help make a difference in the lives of the Afghan people.
